CLA High School scholars, please join us for a career chat from the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife on December 4th at 9:10am.

Scholar Spotlight: Riley J.

We are thrilled to announce that CLA's own Gavin Pogue has officially committed to wrestle for Southern Oregon University!
This is a huge accomplishment, as Gavin will be competing for a program ranked 6th nationally in the NAIA. Congratulations on reaching this milestone, Gavin! Your commitment, dedication, and leadership inspire us all.

As we highlight respect in October within our CLA K-6 Pathfinder Program, we want to celebrate Elijah. Elijah shows respect to everyone around him, listens carefully, works hard, and always wants to help clean up. On top of all that, Elijah is silly and loves to laugh. We are so lucky to have him as a Pathfinder!

This month’s Teacher Spotlight features Math and P.E. teacher, Mr. Rennels, who took a unique path into education. After spending 16 years with Adroit Construction, he decided he wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. He went back to school, earned his degree in Elementary Education, and now teaches high school math! Mr. Rennels loves being around students and finds it deeply rewarding to see them grow and achieve their goals.

Katie is defining her “+” through her involvement as a dedicated Pathways Academy scholar, a valued member of the EPHS Equestrian Team, and a successful small business owner—just to name a few.
As a scholar, Katie has a passion for her Career Experience class. This class provides a hands-on opportunity that allows students to explore potential career paths before committing to one. Katie says, “Not only do I have the coolest job shadow experience with the Medford Police Department, but I am loving every aspect of the project so far and it has been so fun to connect with peers and see how their experience is going. This is probably the most fun I have ever had in a class and I am so glad that Crater Lake Academy has this class for seniors.”

We’re thrilled to shine this month's spotlight on Mrs. Daniels, our incredible K8 Office Manager! Mrs. Daniels is truly the heartbeat of our Explorer campus, keeping everything running smoothly, supporting students, staff, and families with a smile, and bringing warmth and organization to every corner of our campus. Her dedication, kindness, and calm demeanor under pressure make a difference every single day.
We’re so lucky to have Mrs. Daniels serving in such an important role in our CLA family!
